Its outer casing is black, which I painted white. This way it doesn’t look out of place, and when I occasionally look up at it while doing crafts, it’s like looking at the distant sky through a real lens skylight. It greatly relieves my eye strain. This is truly something I didn’t expect. A very good product.

I bought two 1x1ft Skylights, and the results exceeded my expectations. However, I still have a slight regret—I regret not buying the larger size. Trust me, bro, if your wallet is bulging, you should definitely buy a bigger one.

Installing was simple. Just cut to the dimensions and pop the light right in. It’s light enough that it doesn’t feel like it adds any weight to the drywall in my ceiling. Wiring was a simple 2 wire process.

I really love the golden light in sunrise mode; it brings me great joy!
